Kausalyze is pleased to announce a pilot project with MCUK to test its causal AI approach at the company's Saltend site in Hull, UK.

The project will develop a causal model of the production process, capturing key cause-and-effect relationships. Working with the MCUK team, Kausalyze will incorporate the knowledge and experience of plant engineers and operators to reflect how the process runs in practice.

Jason Davis, Operations Manager at the Saltend site, said, *"We are looking forward to working with Kausalyze and exploring its causal AI approach through this pilot."*

Louis Allen, Founder and CEO of Kausalyze, added, *"This pilot will let us test our causal modelling approach with the MCUK team and explore its use in operational decision-making and process optimisation."*

## About Kausalyze

Kausalyze helps process manufacturers increase throughput, reduce energy costs and improve reliability by identifying valuable operating changes and quantifying their impact. Its causal AI combines plant data, process physics and engineering expertise to model how changes affect the wider process, including delayed effects.

This gives engineers specific recommendations with quantified expected benefits and trade-offs, helping them decide what to change, by how much and when. Kausalyze is a University of Sheffield spin-out.
